We are pleased to announce that the first update for Micromine 2020.5 is now available to all users for download. Please see the full list of changes below.
Micromine 2020.5 Service Pack 1
- Blast Design: Resolved a potential crash when using Automatic numbering in a Blasthole design.
- Blast Design: Fixed a bug where pressing Enter with Blast Design Create Pattern dialog collapsed could hang Micromine.
- The sub-drill distance is no longer added to the hole depths when new holes are added using Mining | Blasthole Design | Row | Extend.
- Fixed a problem in Mining | Blasthole Design where minimized tools could allow the user to run another instance and crash Micromine.
- Expressions: Improved ability to handle one field with different units in Block model report.
- Reorganised the options in Wireframe Grade-tonnage reporting to ensure that the default form points the user to the most robust method.
- Block models with merged sub-blocks that have exceeded the dimensions of the parent blocks can now be processed by Wireframe | Assign | Block Model | Sub blocks.
- Charts: Resolved a bug where Pressing Save after making a change in a loaded chart form would disable the Apply button.
- Resolved a crash that could occur when using automatic bins calculation in an Omnidirectional Semivariogram.
- Fixed a bug where Micromine would wrongly indicate that some files are edit-locked.
- Drillhole Log: Resolved a bug that could cause blue lines to lines appear down the side of log when making header frame selections.
- Fixed a Filter bug where the list of available text field values would be opened twice.
- In Expressions, resolved a problem where Expression Editor (or Validate Expression) could not be loaded without a valid file.
- Removed temporary spurious output generated by File | Fields | Extract.
- Edit Extents in Blank Block Model now correctly populates the Vizex Property Pane.
- Fixed a bug where a Text Hatch Set would always include the first code, ignoring the active filter.
- Fixed a bug in Cross Validation with the support of cokriging, where spurious numbers could be generated.
- Geostatistics: Fixed a problem where loading a cross covariogram would not refresh the chart.
- Wireframe | Report | Grade Tonnage: Modified compositing behaviour for points and drillholes to only weight using the method specified in the form.
- Image Georeferencing can now derive a solution from two control points.
- Implicit Modelling: Improved calculation of distances along folds to better preserving original sample distances.
- Implicit Modelling: Resolved creation of “tunnel” artefacts in Vein modelling when in Super fine mode.
- Implicit Modelling: Improved consistency of Vein output points.
- Implicit Modelling: The default wireframe output quality is now set Standard.
- Implicit Modelling: Fixed a bug in Fault modelling to ensure the Z-field is always specified.
- Implicit Modelling: Improved the gradient calculation to increase the speed when using a trend model.
- Automation: Macro reports now open in an expanded state.
- Improved consistency of Unicode Glyphs used to define the degree symbol.
- Resolved an issue where transparency would not work with in Pit Design.
- Fixed a bug where a 2D plot would warn about 3D objects, even though they are disabled.
- Fixed a bug where creating a new project from an existing project could crash Micromine.
- Resolved potential artefacts that could appear when defining block model extents.
- Resolved a problem where Micromine would incorrectly flag fields as compulsory when exporting a wireframe from Ring Design.
- The correct collar symbol is now displayed after importing as-drilled holes using Import | IREDES. Drillhole offset lines and collar symbols now respect the view settings specified in Mining | Ring Design | Open.
- Scheduling: eliminated the creation of spurious schedule optimiser reports on detecting a violation of constraints.
- Scheduling: Schedule Optimiser now displays better messages when an Infeasible problem formulation is encountered.
- Scheduler | Import | Wireframe Set: the size of the column can now be adjusted.
- Fixed a bug where some variogram Control Files created in v20.5 were not backward compatible with Micromine 2020.
- Seam Stratigraphy: Rearranged the dialog for a better workflow.
- In String and Point layers, ensured that label font sizes maintain their size when using Visibility tools.
- Insert Planar Intersection: Number of planes is now compulsory.
- Fixed a bug where Vizex Pie chart labels would hidden unless selected.
- Resolved an issue where editing string layer properties would sometimes refer to the wrong string.
- Resolved an issue where the SEG-Y Vizex layer would become invisible when placed inside a folder on the Vizex tree.
- Resolved a problem with the Interactive Search Ellipsoid, ensuring that a spherical search always remains spherical.
- Resolved a problem where Vizex Wireframe Properties with blank values would not be shown in the Properties.
- Fixed a bug where Wireframe | Cut | Keep inside would not create user attributes for the output wireframes.
- Resolved a bug in Wireframe | Calculation | Pierce Points where spurious inactive Pierce points are created
- Large numbers of sub-blocks can now be processed by Wireframe | Assign | Block Model | Sub blocks, Pit Optimiser | Mine | Definition, and Stope Optimiser | Mine | Definition.
